I met John in Amherst at school but lost with him when I moved to Pugwash. We met again in Halifax when John lived on Quinpool Road. I would see him on the street and we would always stop and chat about the old times, music, and catch each other up on our lives. When John moved to Parkstone, I would often stop in to visit when I went to see my sister, Ruth, who lives on the same floor. I greatly admired him, his courage and his zest for life. I last saw him the day before he passed. I am so sorry for your loss. It is a loss for all who knew him. I shall miss you, my friend. Donnie Moore
