Obituary of Bunny Rumley
Bernadette Lynn “Bunny” Rumley, age 54, of Union Centre, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the Halifax Infirmary with her family by her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Helen (Pitts) Pitts.
Bunny devoted her life to her family, choosing to stay at home with her children. Her passions were sewing, gardening, crafts, and her pets; but most of all the light of her life were her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Gary; daughter Ashley, Union Centre; son Josh (Whitney), Gairloch; grandchildren Lleyton, Danica and John; chosen son Matthias Mayer, Union Centre; sisters, Essie Fillier (David), Springville; Paulette Cormier (James), Salt Springs; Patsy Grealey (Glen), Linacy; Audrey Adams (David), Hilden; brothers, John A. (Jean), Munroe Ave. Ext.; Paul (Sharon), Three Brooks; Vernon (Shirley), Lundy; Ian (Linda), Lundy; father-in-law Vernon Rumley, Westville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane Rumley, Stellarton, Darlene Robinson (Art), Hardwood Hill; Kevin Rumley, Westville and close friends, Peggy and Ken Gillis, New Glasgow.
Cremation had taken place. Her family received visitors on Sunday, October 25, at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. A private family service will be held at a later date.
