Obituary of Lesley Ann Shymko

Lesley Ann Shymko, age 52, of Lyon’s Brook, passed away suddenly at home on December 21, 2024.

Born in NewGlasgow, Lesley is the daughter of Evelyn (Stewart) Shymko and the late Donald Shymko; and is survived by her sons Matthew Koszkulics (Jenna Kehoe), Martin Hoffman and her daughter Jenna Hoffman; sisters Dawn Fougere and Debby Linthorne; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lesley graduated from NSCC Pictou Campus and worked as a hair stylist for many years.  Most recently she worked as a dietary nutritionist at the Maritime Oddfellows Home in Pictou.

Lesley loved the beach and her 4Runner.  In her free time she enjoyed gardening.  Lesley was a cat mom to Mya, Mila, Ally and her beloved Ojoe.

A reception (Celebration of Life) will be held at Branch #28 Royal Canadian Legion, Stellarton at 3:00 on Saturday, December 28, 2024.  Internment will take place at a later date.
