We were saddened to hear of dear Ruby's passing. Our love and prayers to her family left behind. May GOD give you HIS comfort, strength and peace.
Ruby was a lovely person, a true friend and a great prayer warrior. She was proud of son, John and Lee. She was very close to her granddaughters and great grandson. She spoke of them often and prayed for them.
We enjoyed our times together with her! She was a joy and blessing to our ministry at Maranatha Bible Church (formerly Munroe Avenue Baptist Church). She was a wonderful cook and always was willing to bake cookies! She made the best biscuits and shortbread cookies!!
Well Ruby, you are finally HOME! We miss you but will see you again 'someday beyond the blue'!
Love and prayers, Pastor Jerry Stearns, Mrs Pat and family.
SAFELY HOME by Harry VanderArk
"I am home in Heaven, dear ones, all's so happy, all's so bright!
There's perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief are over, every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last!
Did you wonder I so calmly trod the Valley of the Shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me in that way so hard to tread.
And with Jesus' arm to lean on, could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely for I love you dearly still.
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idle stand;
Do your work while life remaineth, you shall rest in Jesus' hands.
When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home;
Oh! The rapture of that meeting! Oh! the joy to see you come! "

We met Ruby when we arrived in New Glasgow to minister at Maranatha Bible Church, then known as Munroe Ave Baptist Church. Ruby loved to fish, and we enjoyed her generosity and love immensely. We are saddened by this and will pray for comfort during these days.

My deepest condolences to Ruby's family. I have known Ruby for many years, starting when she lived in Bible Hill. I used to go and stay at Ruby's house with her cousin, Heather. We had many good times. It was there that I met John and Scott. Ruby and I kept up our friendship and we used to talk for house on the telephone. We haven't been in touch for awhile but I have often thought of her. Ruby was one of the nicest people that I have known and had an awesome sense of humour. RIP Ruby.

We met Ruby when we began to attend Munroe Ave. Baptist Church. We enjoyed our time with her there and at Maranatha Bible Church. She lived up to her name. She was a gem, precious and rare, sparkling with the light of Jesus shining in her eyes as well as every part of her life. We have missed her sweet spirit since she has had to quit coming. We look forward to seeing her at her mansion in Glory, that Jesus has finished building for her.

My sincere condolences to your family. May Jehovah God provide the comfort needed to your family and friends during this difficult time.
We're so sorry for your loss. Please know that Jehovah God says there will be a resurrection for both the righteous and the unrighteous. Acts 24:15.
Also, Jehovah God said "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4.
