Obituary of David George Hughes

The death of David George Hughes, 74,  of Stellarton/Elgin occurred on August 1, 2024 at home. David is survived by his wife Judy Hughes (nee Ross), step-children Mary Delaney (Jim), Westville; Janet Bourque, Stellarton; Fred Bourque, Elgin; brother Vic Hughes (Heather), Halifax,; grandchildren Lauren Delaney and Victoria Bourque; special niece Kim Hughes; favorite cousin Robert Hughes (Faye), Hants Co.

David was predeceased by his parents George and Mabel (MacPhee) Hughes; sister Donna Hughes, Stellarton; aunt Kay Sutherland, Landsdowne.

David was an electrician by trade and was a member of Local No. 625 retiring  20 years ago.

There will be no visistaion by request. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 6, in Elgin Cemetery with Jon Linthorne officiating.
