Obituary of Roy Valentiate

Valentiate, Roy Henry (Val) Age 93, Capt. Retired CAF. Lived in Greenhill Alma. Passed away May 9th, 2024.

Roy was a proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He considered his daughters-in-law, Marilyn and Darlene, as well as his son-in-law Jeff as his own family. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He lived in six provinces and spent two years in Scotland. Thelma decided that Nova Scotia was the place to retire.

Predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years Thelma. Roy is survived by sons John of Ottawa, Ontario, Brian of Rusagonis, New Brunswick and daughter Janet Snow of Upper Port La Tour, Nova Scotia.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
