Obituary of Anne Young

Mary Anne Hadley Young, known affectionately as Anne, to her friends and family, and Nanny to her grandchildren, passed away peacefully at her home on December 17, 2023, at the age of 75. 

Born on July 26, 1948, in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Anne will be missed and her memory will be cherished. 

Anne is survived by her son Joseph (Jennifer) Young, and grandchildren Anna and Audrey Young of Enfield and Laura and Ryan Fraser of Westville, her sisters Shirley (Lloyd) Wiseman, Sharon (Vincent) Hadley-Tabor, and brother Walter (Margaret) Hadley all of Bathurst, and many loving nieces and nephews. 

She is predeceased by her best friend and husband, Ralph Young and beloved daughter Carla Fraser, her parents Alward and Rita (Kenny) Hadley, and big brother John Hadley. 

We will bid farewell to Anne, who has left an indelible mark on all of us, with visitation at Eagles Funeral Home, in Westville, from 2-4 pm Saturday, December 23, and a celebration of life in Bathurst to be announced at a later date.
