Obituary of Russell Pilgrim

It is with sadness, we announce the death of Russell Allen Pilgrim, 67 of New Glasgow who passed away in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow on February 1, 2021.

Born in New Glasgow, Russell was a son of the late Russell and Jean (Reddick) Pilgrim.

Russell was a computer tech by trade, was a professional painter and dabbed in various other activities.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer, Toronto; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Annette, N.W.T.; Donna, Toronto; Nancy, Edmonton; Shelee, Souris, BC; brothers Barry, New Glasgow; Archie, Edmonton; and James, Vernon, BC. and best friend and long time companion, Melanie Davis. He will be missed by his New Glasgow and Toronto posse.

Russell was predeceased by his parents and sisters Debbie and Belinda and brother Garry.

A special thank you to the Staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Drs., Nurses and Councillors of the Aberdeen Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
